The EMASS end-of-year banquet will be held at the Natick Elks Club
95 Speen St, Natick, MA 01760
on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Doors will open at 10:30. A great brunch buffet and refreshments will be provided along with a cash bar which will open at noon.
Our guest speaker will be Bob Ryan, the dean of Boston sportswriters. He has written for The Boston Globe since the 1970’s, authored numerous books, and appears as a talking head on many syndicated sports talk shows. He has been described as "the quintessential American sportswriter."
Division champions will be announced at the banquet. Each division coordinator will provide a brief recap of the 2024 season.
The agenda for the banquet is:
- 11:00 Brunch
- 11:45 Steve Bober – State of EMASS
- 12:00 Bob Ryan
- 12:30 Division Coordinators
- 1:00 General exaggeration and hyperbole among members
The cost is $30 per person. THERE WILL BE NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR, as there is a hard cap (175) on the number of people who will fit in the hall.
